Hi Everyone this is Nora Gasparian for Hollyscoop! Rumors has surfaced that MTV plans to completely recast the show because the current cast keeps trying to increase their salary. Pauly D set the record straight by saying, “I don’t think they could replace us. They’d just be people trying to be like us, anyway.” He’s right. A new cast would probably be totally fake—and most likely raunchy— stereotypes. Fortunately for MTV, that’s why we people started watching in the first place. MTV also denied the rumors saying they had no plans of replacing the old cast, who has left Italy and is currently shooting in New Jersey. The new season will premiere August 4th.
