NEW YORK – Rap star Ja Rule will be in the spotlight in New York City courtroom.
A trial could begin as soon as this week in a gun possession cases from July 2007 stop of his luxury sports car. It is scheduled for a court date Monday.
Police said they found a semi-automatic pistol loaded in the back door of his $ 250,000-plus Maybach after it stopped for speeding after the Manhattan concert. Car drivers also have insurance and suspended registration, police said.
